About Me

Bio:
My art is my own personal exploration of beauty, strength, confidence and sexiness.
Like a bazillion other girls, I grew up reading fashion magazines and comparing myself to all the teeny-tiny models in the teeny-tiny clothes that I never had any hopes of wearing. I wasn’t a size 2, I had a tough time even finding a pair of jeans that fit, and I felt horrible about myself.
I think my curves are pretty hot now, most days anyway, and a couple of things have helped me get here: the process of painting self-portraits and the curvy, luscious Pin-up paintings of the 1940s and 50s. Discovering the classic Pin-ups gave me something to related to. Those girls had hips and a bustline!
Since then, I’ve been exploring Pin-ups, the curvy female form and now I’m pursuing Burlesque: as a subject and as a dancer.
